So I was just curious if ill be able to hack the ptcl box
so my reason for "hacking" the box is that i want to turn it into a custom android box in which i can install a custom OS e.g. rasbian or ubuntu etc.. and code the way it works completely from scratch.. the resolution it displays on the tv or the sites it has access to and the interface.
The reason for this post
i have already begin my research into it but the only thing i want to know from some experienced board/chip expert is that is it possible to reprogram or wipe up the already installed os completely..
i basically want to turn it into a Raspberry pi.
The other problem im having is the a way to program it. now till know i have found only 2 ways to program a board.. through the ethernet port and accessing it through a terminal and its ip... and the 2nd way is via a usb stick or an sd card..
just wanna know if what i am thinking about it possible or not.
If the way i just explained is not possible would be atleast possible to root the device considering it is still based on android.
