Here's some photo updates. With a couple pictures of my friends AMG CLA 45. The cla has 370hp and I've driven it quite a bit, it HAULS A55! MashAllah.

The styling is polarizing, but it is a characterful car with a personality. A theatre on wheels if you will with the sound effects (very unforgiving and aggressive once the exhaust flaps are open) with loud obnoxious backfires on each upshift with very distinct styling and 14 inch brake disks/rotors (corolla in Pakistan up until recently had 15' rims). I have a launch control video I'll see if I can find it. Here's some more pics:

So I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the wheels and tires combo for the Audi. They are the ones I had described earlier from the Golf R. They have brand new 235/35/19's on them. Here's some photos.

I still have to get audi center caps for these, 10mm spacers all round and a 1.2 inch drop to get the look I'm going for. They still look absolutely stunning to me.

Here's an update: no new "goodies" as such on the car. I did drop a massive chunk of money to get the scheduled gearbox and quattro/haldex system serviced. The rear diff was dirty and the awd system wasn't working. Here's a picture and a link to a non launch control 0-100kmh run I performed in Mexico 🤫.

Okay here's another update. It's very subtle and it was not nearly as expensive (AliExpress ) as everything so far.

These cf mirrors (just replace oem ones) look very nice to me and complete the low-key stealthy look with the non aggressive 19" wheels and black front grill.

As discussed before. Everything looks oem or oem+ and therefore deceptively standard to the untrained eye.

Here's an update:
I previously mentioned the awd service (haldex) that I had gotten done. I recently had the car checked and I'm out of luck. The system still does not function.

It's a dead oil pump on the rear diff. It is 350$ and the fluid has to be re drained so a total 8-900$. The dead haldex pump is common on these: A3, s3, rs3, golf r.

On the positive side, I got some nice pictures. Say MashAllah

Here's another minor update, I just ordered an oem "air leather" gearshift knob. To complete the s Line interior. It will match the leather on the steering wheel, just like it does on the s Line package cars. will share more pictures when I receive it and install it.

So just a quick update, the shift knob came in today and I installed it, I'll attach some photos of the install and the final product. Feel free to share thoughts.

This shows the completed install, so I now have a proper matching air leather wheel and shift knob making the interior akin to that of an "S line" addtion/package

Got a new stable mate for the Audi, I needed a second car at home and the Audi was getting too many miles so got a beater for daily.

I found a sweet deal on a black 2016 base model civic. It's got a 2.0 k20c2 (single vtec economy version) and makes 158hp and 139lb/ft of torque. It's got a 6speed manual. I paid just 9,500 CAD for it. Mileage is 140,000km. Here's a picture of it with the Audi. Please say MashAllah.

Mashallah same car as mine hehe, good decision. a lot of cosmetic mods arw available and cheap for civics in case you feel like spicing it up a bit

Well to be completely honest this is the most basic model you can buy and also I got it for under what is the market value. These (used) typically start at 13,000CAD and go up to 25,000CAD for the top of the line civic si with 205hp 1.5t, 6 speed manual and LSD. These prices are for 2016-18 (pre facelift)

Okay; Quick update: I have found the time and budget to get the car booked for replacing the awd haldex differential oil pump. InshAllah if all goes well, I should have AWD just before the snow sets in.
