Not many major updates but snow season is here and I'm thoroughly enjoying the AWD in this weather. Here are some pictures in the snow:

I have to say though knobby snow tires are extremely important for grip but they do pick up more snow as a consequence so even slightly lowered cars have unique noises because of this, here's some pictures:

I have some updates, something to keep the thread alive, I got the roof wrapped in gloss black to match the sunroof and there was also another tiny little upgrade which I will get to later. I am attaching some before and after pictures.

You're right no one really looks at this thread it's dead but it helps me keep a track of things tbh and low key Sahi Hai Nazar nhi lagay gi I suppose . I don't know many vw enthusiasts locally here because I'm mostly occupied with university. I barely drive my cars 10,000km a year.

Timmies is it's own vibe, locations with Indian/paki staff always make the best tea too. I go there often enough for them to tell me to come back in 2 minutes for fresh tea.

So about the other little upgrade I talked about earlier. I went and got the car tuned stage 1 unitronic. Its a decent amount spicy now with 300hp 346ftlb but doesn't feel wild like my old fwd 1.8 a3 did (hello wheel spin and torque steer).
I did a nice 0-138km/h pull without using launch control (in a secluded part of mexico of course). It pulls like a freight train with no drama. Heres some pictures of it on a battery tender getting the software:

Just a reminder that I have previously upgraded to audi rs3 coil packs (play nice without causing misfires) and step colder spark plugs, brand new high quality oil (2500kms ago), Full awd system service, Full Dual clutch gearbox service and brand new rotors and pads(All documented in the thread) before I decided to run the extra boost in the tune. I believe it's the proper way to go about it.

Yessir, It's not terribly impressive(but normal road with incline and what not on winter tires 2 people in the car).

Stock these cars with launch control(shaves about 0.5s) run a 13.9s pass at ~100mph(161kmph) in the quarter.
Meaning 0-160 takes 14 seconds on stock boost 17-18psi I think.

People are running low-mid 13s (13.4-13.5) after stage 1 at 103-105mph at low altitudes. (that's an impressive 0-170kmph in 13.5 seconds at the worst)

Yes these things are already upto notch from factory and stages upgrades just jerry on top. How much boost on stage 1?

hey there,

I have 2015 A3 1.8T sedan FWD and its been tuned/FBO, using piggyback JB4 as there no flash tuner in Pakistan and it cant be flash tune by remote tune as well due to different ecu #. Anyhow i have done some drag races here with many cars, now its been for sale. Oh btw i have done dragy measured and its been doing 14.6sec at 101mph, on stock boost it was doing 15+ sec on 93-94mph.

I love those 1.8s I had one before this current one and it's an absolute monster specially in Pakistan where even for AMGs people used to ask (civic turbo k Saath joraygi?), especially if you swap in the bigger is20 turbo from these 2.0 cars. They do torque steer too. Quite a bit.
