Audi A4 oil consumption

AOA I am planning to buy a audi a4. I saw the owner's review of audi a4 2016 on pakwheels youtube channel and the owner of the a4 2016 said that it consume oil more and he has to carry engine oil for topup so i want to know that this problem is also in a4 2017 ? If not then I'll buy 2017 model but if the same problem continues in 2017 model then I'll go for 2016 model. Please answer and thenk you all.

Oil consumption 1litre per 1000 km is normal in new high compression engines.....so to topup is normal in such cars

5W-30 is good for any German brand petrol car of any engine capacity. USE known brand from brand station or a trusted shop do not fall trap for any imported names.

request owner to provide you with the maintenance history of the vehicle weather it is a 2016 or 2017 model.

@blueazure jump in please does an:

A4 have engine transmission and mechanical maintenance parts
Premier system the importer of Audi is clue less for real meaning of support workshop for any Audi in Pakistan be it a grey or fake passport import.

How about their tech support for E-tron any ideas you wish to babbel about maintenance of AUDI E_tron

i have never owned an audi .

i cannot comment on its mechanical reliability

my khala owns an Audi A6 2016 . it has done 50k km and is doing fine . vehicle is maintained by Audi lahore. they never had any issues with any consumables

one of my friends owns a BMW 745 2006 . his transmission failed, yet he was able to procure a replacement very easily

i personally find german vehicles over engineered and over complicated . 4 x sensors are placed where one can do . having said that, people STILL buy them regardless and pay a premium for their maintenance . free market it is

luxury is expensive, luxury has a price .

if you have a problem with Audi , you can buy yourself a toyota prius . very reliable

Yes it does consumes engine oil. Dont get lured by Audi's looks. If you want to buy Audi so go for 2013 or 2014 models.
You will buy the new Audi in excitement but after a week or so you will start hating the idea of pouring oil into it every now and then.
Its Better you go for a Prado or any other german brand.
The choice of your german car depends on for how longer you are going to keep it.

Then i eould suggest you
to buy a 1990 to 98 s class. Very reliable. Or 90 to 95 e class. You can keep them for the next 10 years. You will have low stress abt electronics. If you can pay 2 crore plus then buy a panemera. Tje mercedese i suggest u would cost you max 30 lacs. Try them. They are the real geman engineering machines
