Audi A5 2014 or Elantra 2023

I know this comparison looks bizarre. But if one has a budget of 7-8 million, is it advisable to go for a decade-old Audi A5 or just stick with a new Elantra or some other Sedan. (Not into crossovers)

An important aspect to note here is that I am a businessman and like it or not, a good car can bag you a good deal. In fact, this is what happens a lot of times in my profession. So this is the only reason I was even considering a nine year old car. But I need a suggestion if its even worth it? Or should I simply go for a newer car in the same budget?

If the priority is shashka for business, go for Audi.

Even though it’ll be in far worse condition than a new Elantra and might have different issues, sourcing parts and maintenance will be an issue too.

However, if the priority is brand name then Audi can’t be beaten specially in desi minds.

sir as read over this forum AUDI does not have any legitimate support workshop., plus there is zero presence of AUDI after 2018 models. selected imports does not account for any 3s support.

Elantra is brand backed by 3S network. a brand new vehicle has its own charm buy a colored variant so it has eye catching queries from prospective clients.

In Elantra back seats space are not that good.. over all good car but

in 8 million u can consider.. Sonata.. bro..

why would go for Elantra 2023 ? reason

some people have these issue like irritating noise coming from the rear windshield of the car

and DLR stopped working

over all good car

but u can get sonata in this price i think all u need to stretch little bit ur budget.

I think you should go with a new car in the same budget which is an Elantra, this will be a better choice according to y aspect, The Audi A5 could have a sensor issue which is known fault according to my knowledge, The Rest of the decision is all upto you Again!

Can't get a good Sonata under 9 million. The max I can stretch my budget is 8 mil.

Both are from different leagues, buying a Audi can easily get you class and symbol in Pakistan. Buying a Audi can get you into some hustle if you are not a car guy, Maintenance and stuff is quite hectic whereas Elaaaantra is quite value to money and if we consider the factor of reliability My vote will be with Elentaaara
