Here are my two cents as far as this car is concerned. It's not in Oman, because the headgear is plain, not the brown, Burburry-esque Omani traditional agal. This is definitely in DXB or AUH.. If anyone who's replied to this post been to the 2004 Motorshow at the Dubai Intnl Trade Center, this particular, chrome bodied A8 was exhibited with a host of other mouth-watering automobiles, including a Porsche Gemballa GTR 650 Evo, a Gemballa 700 GT (based on the Cayenne Turbo), VATH E class with 6 exhaust pipes, etc. (if anyone over here doubts the veracity of my statement, lemme know). Also, the fact that the car in the picture retains its showplate points towards the fact that either this car is newly bought or, the person in charge of storing the showcars brought it home. My mosy likely guess is that the person in the picture's somehow linked to one of the premier motor showrooms in the UAE, like Princess cars, etc. FYI, Princess Cars has Rolls Royce Phantoms, Mercedes Mclaren SLR, etc in its inventory so don't be fooled by the tongue-in-cheek name.
