At the recent LA auto show ( https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/cool-classic-cars-latest/244749-2014-la-auto-show ) There was one concept car on the show floor which attracted the largest crowds. The car as at AUDI floor and was named as "Prologue Concept Coup". The car really looked very futuristic. Some experts thinks that Audi is working on bringing a A9 in future to battle against "S Class Coupe" https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/cool-classic-cars-latest/229421-2015-mercedes-s-class-coupe-s63-amg
Most of the times the concept cars are just for display and they can hardly run on the road but the concept Prologue is a full working concept car with a S8 engine under the hood making 520 HP/ 4.0L V8
Though the future of actual A9 is not yet known and the Prologue won't necessarily go into its own production model, its elements will be incorporated on the next generation of A6, A7 and A8. The Next generation of Audi TT which is already in production now show some signs or Prologue. Audi says " The Prologue shows "the future of interfacing with the car." There is a lot of excitement about the Prologue and according to Audi they wanted to show something via concept which can actually be built.
