bro i have one more querry, thr is a whistling sound coming from the speakers whenever i increase the rpm the sound of whistle increases, before i was was using other rca but got inspired by ur diy of RCA cable and made a pair, the sound decreased 50 to 60% but thr is a little bit still coming, what to do?

yes u would need a voltmeter. 3 HIDs? yaar mind na kerna but are you blind or sthg? whenevr i see a car in back or coming from opposite direction with full beams on or an unusual amount of HIDs, it is almost always a corolla and 80% of times, a white corolla

Bro that is alternator whine. Just make sure none of ur RCA's are overlapping or passing by the power and ground wires. check the ground cables and the point of contact on chassis. Insulate them where necessary

u might need to ground ur rca terminals on pre. just wrap a wire around them and ground to any nut on the pre itself. should solve the problem

First of all Eid mubarik to all pakwheelers!!
This mite not b the rite thread...but I need an urgent remedy for the problem m facing as Its Eid n every market will b closed...last night i got installed JVC cs-g1200 sub and a caliber 2400w 4 channel amp in my cultus ,,previusly running a Japanese pioneer headunit with after market USB installed...it worked perfectly.but wen i switched it off and ON again...Im unable to hear the speakers playing..Only the Sub Plays....Kindly tell me wat to do...

i have that carrozeria headunit installed..wen i turn it off it automatically resets itself..i mean if i adjust the bass or the treble to any + or - level and turn the car off it is again at 0 and i hav to adjust it again..the guy adjusted something from the headunit which i fail to recognize while he was installing the system,,so its my wild guess that after i turned it off everything went reset so thats y the speakers aint working..
P.S i got the system installed on chand raat..and i turned the car off when i reached home n this happened wen i turned it on again,,,really pissed off...Didnt even hav the chance to show it to my brother ..n its eid everythings closed.:(

I need some suggestions.
What components + amplifier combo would you suggest for a SQ based setup. Budget 20k for both. Car in consideration is Swift DLX.

I have the Pioneer D1720C in my mind as the components....what amplifier would be good enough to run this..keeping in mind the SQ setup.

And is the Stock HU Alpine in Swift 2012 (built-in) good enough to run this combo well enough. I have another HU....Pioneer DEH P7750MP. Or the other one is suggested.

Your headunit has two positive electrical connections. One that always supplies power to keep the headunit memory alive after you switch off the car, and other that supplies power only after you turn the key to ACC or beyond.

The installer has most probably forgotten to connect constant +ve to the first one that keeps memory alive. Every time you switch off, memory erased. Get it fixed. Only a 10min job. Go to the same installer and tell him to fix the power wires going to the headunit properly.

I need your help with setting up of my sound system for your reference:

Now issue is when i go to a desi sound system installer the gain setup on my amp for front components is bit low nearly no midbass while rear coaxials are dominating, from his perspective the sound should be surround and front setup should give surround impact which i understand back in days when we had only T20s Pioneer tweeters at front and rears we had 715 kenwood worked out.

I am posting picture of my amp gains set on amp. Could you suggest me the gains i can set on front and rear setup also the HZ for the rear speakers.

i think he forgot or did not attach the memory wire for the player. it gives player a 12v current even when the car is off so as to keep the settings saved. u need to get it checked from the installer.

pioneer 1720 with pioneer 6500F is a good combo. if u r just going to run the comps, the pre will work just fine

Lets say 50wrms per channel and if bridged then 150-200wrms

I doubt it would be stable to a 2 ohms load when bridged, usually 4 channel amplifiers are stable only till 4 ohms load when running in bridge mode. Hope this helps.
