^Babar Bhai, People with 2 Ton gate can keep lots of servants too. This solution is way cheaper than relying on people, only if its available easily in karachi and Lahore. Anyone , please?

well ma friend use to have this abt 7years back but am not sure if hes stll using or not ...
he got it by this company with the name powergates pakistan
they do have options like swing gates motor and sliding ones ...

Can powergate products be run on ups ? Since light is a problem these days. And do get price from them and mention here.

How secure is it i mean will it be easy for unauthorised person open close gate if someone knows the system

If you are talking about automatic lock release systems for normal entrance gates (instead of the manual key lock) then you can buy one off in the local market between Rs.500 and Rs.1500. The best selling lock in my city's local market is an Italian lock called Pasoti.

I think u are talking about electronic lock which is installed on door and wire is attached to intercom....

OPis talking about installing an auto opening mechanism on main door(Parking/Driveway)

Yes, I am talking about the regular electronic lock.

Acha, regarding the automated gate assist, I have no idea esp in Pakistan.

dude everythng can work on UPS it just depends on which ups and how big ur using,his gates use to work with wirless remote that comes with the system,and at power failure they do have some manual switch aswell
if you r not using ups/gen. he got it for 45000/
it depends on gate if its more heavy then 400kgs i guess then you have to install a bigger swing motor.. but the sliding gate motor was 80k last i asked .all imported/german and france.

I have powergate motors installed on my house gates(sliding)
Been using them for more than 3 years now and working flawlessly .....

It also works fine over ups ....

Cost of 1 motor back in 2008 was Rs. 75000
Since i bought two motors for two gates so got a deal for Rs. 130,000

This was back in 2008 im not aware of the current rates !

so i guess when ups fails generator starts right? is the loadshedding that bad these days in khi? dude in lhr 14hours everyday :S and today 3hours extra thats make it total 17hours in 24hours:S

Will it work on 2kv setup? Your is 4kv i guess but thats for whole house right
