The OBD scanner doesnt show any problem

I didn't know that but i do put on my belts every time. The belt is not the problem here i can assure you. I read the manual ... blinking amber light means that that feature is not working.

Brother, get it scanned with customized scanner not with the ordinary one. Or visit to toyota guys.

Salam brother,
I also had a problem of idle stop with my passo 14, this problem was sorted out by just removing the battery terminals for few minutes. After connecting them back it will start working after a drive of almost 1km or less...

There is not turning that feature on. According to the manual, if the amber light is blinking it means that there is some problem with it so it wont work

It is indication that battery is weak, replace the battery with new one and it will work like a charm.

My one is working perfectly. (Mashallah) You should consult your mechanic their must be some sort of problem.

Don't let desi Mechanics ruin your ride, it is just the matter of Battery, check with some other battery and it will work for sure.

Thanks to all of you. Finally got a chance to get my car diagnosed by a reliable guy. Found out that the steering angle module had been removed so had to buy a new one. Costed around 8000. The autostop, TRC and the VSC are functional now.

Bro, I have the exact same problem with my toyota passo 2015. I haven't tried to remove the battery yet. Can anyone refer a good mechanic for toyota passo in islamabad?

If Amber lights keep blinking

Switch off engine
Switch off ignition
Remove negative terminal of battery
Remove positive terminal of battery

Now make both ends of leads (not battery terminals ) and place positive terminal than negative terminal

Blinking Amber lights should be off

Once u switch on ignition u will see green light for fraction of second and u can switch on your car

Normally repaired vehicles are being sold in Pakistan like if airbags already used Desi methodology is a timer circuit to keep switch off
Once we use this methodology it create conflict issue for idle stop
So u have to switch off engine and start engine again
