hi,i was thinkin of converting my RX7's auto tranny with manual one.a guy @ pesh offered me everything for 90K including manual tranny,clutch plate,ecu and all the stuff required..tell me is it safe to do so...and is it worth going for it ?

i think so , our gli was auto too and it was converted to manual , the car works good .... but u feel somehow that the car was auto before .
@UsmanIf you got all the stuff I do not think it should be a problem, As this has been done plenty of times. And yes it is worth it, anytime , anyday.

wiring would have be to redone for manual ecu. have a complete console ready for installation along with transmission.,,,, i have driven rx7 manual tt. its a one fine ride. goodluck!
I had a RX-7 and I thought they only came manual.but may be in States only
Check da availabilityof parts in original. it doesnt make any difference converting from Auto to Manual. Good Luck
i drove an embassy auctioned corolla some time back.96 model,se limited, 1.6 EFI. The car was auto, converted into manual. the car runs perfect. though the brake paddle surface area is to big(as it is for auto), and when i pressed the clutch my shoe touched the foot rest(because originally it was auto). besides that the car drove perfecto
if u have all the required parts, Radiator, Tranny, Shifter Cable/Hydraulics, Engine MOunts (If different) then it will be a very clean job and no trace will be left for auto. this goes for Nissan and Toyota, dont know about RX-7

Auto to manual conversion in 90k?.LOL.. we can change the shape of the car in that much amount. i overhauled(interior,engine,exterior) my corolla for RS.50,000.. and just for a gearbox, ur giving out 90k?..lol....
@g16bu need to have a look at an RX-7 in detail. Maybe that will change your mind and u will think that its actualy cheap.
