Automatic Fan Relationship with Thermostat Valve...?

Hello Friends,

I want to ask that can we have Automatic fan without having thermostat valve in our car...?
OR
The automatic fan works only when Thermostat valve is already installed...?

My second question is that if it does works without Thermostat valve, Then does it gives fair level of heat/ optimal temperature to engine which is the engine requirement obviously not the Good/Best optimal temperature as the same is normally achieved with Thermostat valve...?

the valve is present to maintain a minimum operating temperature, that is usually 85*C - the fan switch is to used to switch on the fan when the radiator requires cooling, if you run your engine without the valve then you will be taking a very long time to actually get to the 85 -90*C temperature, The fan will work once its temperature is called for.

My concern is that currently i am running a direct engine fan in my car...
Although it is best recommended to use Automatic fan with Thermostat valve BUT, Is it worth better to use Automatic fan without having Thermostat valve in your car than using a direct radiator fan at least...?

Thermostat valve engine k operating temprature par anay k baad coolant circulation karta hai automatic fan switch coolant k HOT honay par on & off hota hai coolant agar sahi temperature par nahi circulate karay ga to automatic fan bhi required temperature par operate nahi karay ga means k gari k engine overheat karay ga aur performance par fuel consumption par asaar paray ga

With direct fan and no thermostat you are killing your engine for sure.With automatic fan and no thermostat your engin is dying slowly.

Then wot is the solution left...Shou;d i try my car engine with Thermostat valve and Automatic fan without knowing its urrent status or i shud continue with it...?

My second Question is that what is the ideal position of cool/hot guage in 1000 cc car like suzuki khyber...?
and should it stay all the time at that specific location or it can go down or up to that point...?

if thermostat iz working properly + fan on automatic setting.....then the ideal position for temperature gauge needle is in the middle.

ideal is at past 40 minutes (8) - 45 minutes (9) higher then that is abnormal

sir, i agree with you in principle...but temperature gauge comes in various designs.(horizontal, right vertical, left vertical)..hence 40-45 minute/degree rule doesnt fit on every design except left-vertical.
