We have Samsung Ecobubble 8 kg front load at home. Using it for more than two years now Alhamdolilla.
Heat water at 60 degress and it cleans better than conventional washing machine in less than half the time.

Front loads are expensive because they use less water and are more energy efficient.

my big dawlance no frost refrigerator is 120watts only. That's what it says, will confirm some time with a meter. We bought it some 8 years ago

Buy fully automatic washing machine as a gift to women at home who really have to wash all those cloths. In a fully automatic machine you just put cloths in with detergent and thats it, it will wash, rinse and dry your cloths upto a point that you just have to hang them out in the open to get some sun. But mind you its heavy on electricity.

I havnt used the top load one therefore i cannot comment on it.
But as far as the front load one we have in our home its excellent and highly recommended.
Washing clothes is easy and we no longer keep a maid for washing.( thats a saving of atleast 3000/month on that end). Everybody in my home has learnt to use it and washes their clothes when ever they feel like.

We were sceptical about its cleaning abilities when we bought it but it turned out to be too good in that aspect as well, especially with hot water it cleans rather better than a conventional machine.
For example it cleans dirty shirt collars without the need to use brush on them.

I have purchased Top Loading Haier and believe me one of the satisfied customer.
I think compolete model is HAIER FULLY AUTOMATIC TOP LOAD WASHING MACHINE (HWM85-7288)

I bought 3 years ago so price then was high now it might be between 25-30K

thanks for the feed back....bought the same model in Rupees 28500, capacity 8.5kg but its little bit smaller, company representative told me that u can wash only 8 clothes in it...

U cannot count it in number of clothes
Lets say if u put heavy jeans then 3 will be limit.
I think by 8.5 Kg means weight of cloths + weight of detregent + weight of water

get a front load washing machine, check market and choose the one with good built quality falling in your budget. Buy once and use for years. LG makes some really good ones.

can you guys comment on power requirement of both front load and top load? in terms of watts. Like an iron is usually 1000w

Samsung and LG both are good and neither of these is better than the other. I have used both and found them good.

Samsung is slightly better in after sales this is why people like to go for it instead of LG.
