Typical mindset is when you assume everyone lives in Pakistan, I live abroad and we have LG which works very well. LG is a big brand, not everything it makes is best, but we are not talking about the best here anyway. You won't get a fully automatic front load washing machine in 30k PKR. In Pakistan you can't go by the brand name but by the experience of people because sellers open everything in Pakistan and could replace parts as well, quite common. When I went to get LG AC they opened a brand new pack of AC and showed us its gold plated radiator from inside and then repacked. By going with the herd you feel safe that because 3 of my relatives are using this brand are fine with it then this is the safe one to go for. Things are so corrupt in Pakistan then you can't expect to get things sealed pack with no issues.
sir we are here not to criticize others...Every one has its own choice and convenience...the geographical and weather condition varies country to country...its not necessary that the brand got success in uk or usa can be successful in pakistan...we may make comparisons with our neighbourhood india, bangladesh, srilanka........its long debate that why honda125 and toyota corolla are successful in our villages and other automakers are not ....as far as the LG is concern, its good brand but i dont know the outlet, even i havent saw its AD on tv...yes Haier is cheap, its performance is good so why would i go for the brand(LG or Samsung) which is not accessible to me by every means..

I'll be buying a machine in feb/march but budget is not for front load
u should go for 10kg machine...i have heard that new models of Dawlance machines are energy efficient and comparatively cheap than Haier too...can wash blanket too in heavy machines having capacity 8.5kg or more
how is yours? any comment on energy and water consumption and quality of wash?
mine is Haier 8.5kg hwm 85-7288 price 28500....washing quality is satisfactory..dont have exact calculation about electricity consumption but it seems to be energy efficient because the electricity bill is normal.. capacity is good, can wash blanket in it too but not good enough as i said before...10 kg will be the better option..we are also 4 family members, 2 adults n 2 kids...i suggest u to buy 10kg...

Ours is full automatic Samsung machine .
samsung is the best brand as per the market survey but very expensive...in my opinion one can/ should buy front load machine in Haier rather than samsung top load because the price is almost same
what are the pros of front load viz a viz top load?
The front-load clean better and spin faster...energy efficient as compare to topload...use less water and Detergent....it was mentioned by a user of front load and several Dealers
Price is lil over as it's a online shop but if you find one on a market it would be a great choice chack this link of Daraz it's best brand across the world
