Swirls are integral part of the paint Sooner or later they are there no matter how hard you follow the drill. I have stopped worrying about them.

However I will continue to use quality products and towels. Will use Karcher in summers and mostly use Carpro waterless wash at home.

My porch is like a wind tunnel with a high windchill factor, so washing is terrible in winters. But still it's once a while when I take my car to service stations and its well protected by detergent proif Collinite wax.

Yes true indeed but the swirls intensity is higher with Auto washes.
Yes with white one can take the chance.

But with black like mine!
No way man. It will look horrible and will be difficult to even mask with waxes.

@autophile sir did you get door handles replaced in warranty? I saw grande at Toyota GT ready for delivery and it had same issue as your car had so I asked sales man and he responded sir Pakistani gari ha itna tu hota hi ha.

No. I called GT yesterday and they said Indus has rejected the warranty claim saying same stupid thing that it is in most of the cars. I will be on the back of Indus tomorrow, intend to be a pain to them till handles are replaced.

Also I have another battle that is to get cameras or the the entire infotainment replaced due to waves in camera images which Techno guy said was also in most of units and I should accept it as the fate.

Long battles ahead.

Ask you dealership about the phone number of infotainment technician in your city and call him and make an appointment. He will check the cameras and also update the software. The guy who checked my system in Islamabad said it was not a fault. I showed him video of another friend's Grande infotainment which did not have waves, but he said that in some cars it is like that.

I am thinking to write to Indus about it.

Bass once a week Wash and Mask with Maguire. Thats it. Still your car looks ahead of others and i think it is pretty satisfying for me and you too.

so far I have done nothing on it. It has gone to one regular service station and one automatic wash necessitated due to rain and extreme cold, otherwise just cleaning it with Black Fire waterless wash spray with microfiber towels at home.

Intend to use autoscrub and then apply Collinite 845 when weather ease out a bit.

Saw some swirls on car in the direct sunlight but I am not bothered as you really need a keen and close eye to find them.

Today was the first inter-city drive of Grande, actually of any 11th Gen Corolla as I did not take the previous two to long route.

No choon, chaan, squeaks, khar, khar, thak thak on the dilapidated poor GT road. With full load waded through the narrow streets and monstrous ramps on both sides of streets of Gujrat and all kinds of pot-holed roads.

Great handling, excellent grip and superb acceleration. Got 14.7 avg at the end of trip.

10/10 for comfort and drive pleasure and handling, safety as had a narrow miss with a snail pace moving truck who abruptly decided to overtake another dud truck. Grande handled very well without any turbulence and I was firmly in control of every thing.

I travelled to gujrat as well yesterday from lahore but in my 10th gen prosmatec.
Was in naughty mood and raced a few times.

The glis and the cities were eating my dust even when I was yawning. The 1.6 Altis gave me a real tough time which was a happy sight.
Didnt bother the grandes .

P.S following your thread and I must say that is one lucky car.
