I guess in Islamabad you drive it less or short trips. If yes than it is normal. I too experienced this during the lock down months. It improved from 8 to again 12-13 when I started driving more per day.

Hello Sir! @autophile I have grande 2018. I have noticed that leather of my steering has started wearing. Do you suggest Leather stitching? If yes, then what would be good place in islamabad to get it stitched?
A couple of years ago I got a piece stitched on it though it was not showing any signs of wearing out. Just caught a random guy roaming near Bahu Mohalla in Pindi Saddar.
In Islamabad there used to be a good poshish shop next to Toyota Aabpara, if he is still there check it.

Cable with rear cam is too long, i had to roll almost 1 m extra cable
You don’t have to go down. Cable has to move in pillars. I moved it on right side along pillars

I did a bit rerouting and it's a success. Looking forward to hardwire hooking guidance.
