@guy4u. Well the experience, adventure and thrill are priceless. My office paid for car and lodging in Peshawar, while Pakistan Army paid for helicopters and other transport.

They served us a very lavish lunch in Wana, steam lamb roast was awesome among host of other dishes. Could not get pix coz really had very very short time as we were rushing from one place to another to get maximum for our reports.

@kiani. No we were not taken to those areas. The trips arranged by military are usually short and limited to certain areas due to security reasons. Wish could go on my own, but the tribal areas are out of bounds for journalists.

This trip is really awesome. I visited Peshawar in 2000 for the first time and there is no doubt that charsi tikkas of namak mandi are as pure as people of frontier.
