Shaukat bhai no need to worry. It's very simple. Go in settings > Video > Backview Mirror and touch it to set to Normal (H)

I have the same issue with my previous shaped (2013) model Altis 1.6l I tried to follow the settings but I guess the previous generation Navigation has some different settings or User Interface... can you please guide me for the previous generation to do the same.

I have no experience with previous gen's unit, but you should try different settings relating to reverse camera in the menu.

Can someone please help me regarding my phone not automatically connecting to the car's bluetooth? it does recognise the phone but have to connect it manually everytime. The settings are already set to 'automatically connect'.

City driving is also called Urban Driving. outside City is called as Extra Urban, and then there is mixed average.

It is city average. Add three kms to it, you will get highway average

I have not taken this car out of city yet.

This car gives good milage on Shell petrol
Stay away from Byco
PSO and Caltex are bit better

Not sure, if you are talking about Corolla or generic. As adding 3 kms to city driving may not give correct highway mileage.

Thanks. I was interested because Altis 1.6 has 4 speed Super ECT transmission which is expected to give poor statistics on highways on speeds greater than 100 km/h..... as compared to cars having 7 speed CVT transmission

A 7 speed tranny will always be more economical than a 6, 5 or 4 speed. This is usually evident at higher speeds.

1. There is more then 50% difference in price of oil filter in market as compared to what Toyota offers. From where do u guys buy filters?
2.i m using taglon engine oil in my 2zrfe is it OK?
3. Grande enfotaintment system wifi doesn't connect automatically every time to available wifi what could b the reason?

Original oil filters have an excellent filter paper used in them. Local ones are poorly made and are definately nt recmended.
I once dissected both the filters and the diff was clear.

Is there an increase in wiper noise as I suspect that this product creates an extra protective layer on top of the glass, maybe a chattering or juddering noise? Secondly what is the procedure to apply this product?

That assumption is not correct. It gives good average at high speeds also and there is not much difference-- hardly CVTi would give a couple of kms more on long. The problem is that people are just resetting the average meter and posting the readings which are initially higher than actual. I have given the reading of tank-to-tank refills.

And also there is a misconception that 4 speed AT is like a four speed manual as gear rations are longer in AT than a manual transmission, though more the gears, better it is. CVTi is a different ball game as there are no gears in it.

No there is no wiper noise

Dear Masroor Bhai, ODO of my altis 1.6l is 4300 Kms and the maximum average achieved is 11.8 km/l on long route of ~ 1200 kms. Is it OK? keeping in mind that i rarely crossed economy zone and reset meter after every refill.
Engine oil was replaced at same ODO (4300 KMs), dealer recommended Taglon 5w-50. Is it OK to go with this in future?
And thirdly my car is parked in dusty but i must say sandy environment of Rahim Yar Khan and swilrs are prominant at various location after 5 months of delivery. Car is cleaned by cleaner on daily basis by dry dusting. Please suggest some adequate method and product for alternate cleaning method. I have gone through this thread but still confusion persists. I get car cleaned from service station nearly once in month or due rainy condition.

The average is ok and it will increse as you drive more miles. Mine is giving now 12.5 - 13.25 in city, mileage 14,375 kms. 13.25 I got after filled regular from Byco and 1/3 Hi-octane from Shell.

In my experience Shell Unleaded gives great mileage on this model.

Dry dusting is the main cause of swirls. Even a wet cloth would cause swirls. Always use a waterless wash spray and wipe off the dust with a microfiber cloth panel by panel.

Wash with a good shampoo in one bucket and clean water in other bucket and wash panel by panel by constantly dipping and cleaning the wash mitt or microfiber towel in clean water bucket.

Get a good quality wax (not polish) and apply it once a month after washing the car. I hope it helps.
