Average Brake Disks change interval?

What is the average brake disks change interval in city? Suzuki suggest it after 40000 KM but service center change my Wagon R disks just after 26000 km. is it okay?

If original are used and drive is normal not hard braking the 50k is good.
But otherwise 25-30k is ok

They were genuine, i think they just looted me. I tuneup my car today.

It kind of depends on one's driving style. People can wear out brake pads in 10,000 km as well. Then there are some who don't wear them out in even 80k, i take it since your car is used local, you may use your brake more than usual.

same happen with one of my friend, he went for 5k service and they asked to change break pads, costing round 4,000 PKR (wagonR model 2015 driven around 26,000-26,500)

they take 4200 from me, 26000km yes on 5k service.

I have Cultus 2014. While service at 10000km the Suzuki Centre asked me to change disk pads and it cost Rs.5,200/-. Then at 20,000km, they again asked me to change but I refused. Then at 25,000 I got changed disk pads for Rs.800/- (MK make Malaysia) from private mechanic and now at 40,000km, these are still fine.

There are official parts dealers in every city, google them and you can source them. Suzuki will always be more expensive from them because they have to run their setup and they add expense charges to the price of the part
