I have heard so much about this websites, and how the experts response on the user's car problem
I bought a vitz 2007/2012 model (12.50 lacs) a few months ago.
The engine was weak, and i knew it. It was my first experience and i didnt know about cars at all. How they operate, what should be their fuel average, what is the difference between a 1.0 and 1.3 engine. I knew nothing. The dealer was my good friend and he fucked me right in my ass.
He told me the engine was weak, but he said "bhai aap tension na lo, engine weak he laikin aap jab tak chaho isko aisy hi chalaty raho, baad me engine replace krwa lena"
Next day after the purchase, i went to lahore. It cost me 18,000 for patrol. Yes, RS18,000.
I came back, talked to a few friends, and replaced following things:
Whole Engine (55,000)
Air filters
Engine oil
Oxygen sensor, throttle, and race paddle (because i was facing swear accelaration problems)
After i replaced the engine, the RPM was about 1700 - 2000 in idle engine. New throttle and few things lower the RPM
I got a few good results after the replacements. The accelaration problem is gone, and few other problems as well.
Still, i am facing milage problem. I scanned my car, and they said that it does not have a "catalytic convertor". The mechanic said "Catalytic convertor ki waja se average kharab ho jati he".
Without the converter, my car is giving me 8 - 9 milage within city, and i havent drove on motorway yet (after my horrible visit to lahore). Please tell me what is the ideal, and most vitz 2007 fuel average in good conditions.
I am so fucked up now, so confused, and so out of budget. I am not sure of i sould install the convertor, or how will it effect my car.
