Because it takes into account those moments you spent at the signals (0kms/hr) and your accelerations from gear 1 and slow moving in busy traffic and so on. It's the gross average, inclusive of slowest drive in city traffic also.

i leave the home at 7 Am and reached peshwar 10.30 then went to deffence at uncles home stay there for 3 hours and went to university road for getting polishes and sm stuff for car then saddar at 3pm i leave peshawar and reached 6.30 back at home thats it ager 40 ki speed se jata to 24 ghanto main b wapis na aa sakta hota lolz

I do believe that Volverine has done it but on other hand if any one has to believe on the fuel average in that display then why to disagree with other output?

The fuel consumption is calculated by the onboard computer considering various variables including the average speeds that it knows best.

So my point is that the fuel consumption output is of that instance where the car was averaging 40 Km/h

Drive slow and keept the RPM below 2K...it will give you 20 KM/L even...but as soon as you floor it...it will drop down to 14 and then 13 ...eventually 12 or 11Km/L....which is the practicle mileage a 2.5 Mark X gives on long route

I am not saying ou lied about the mileage....but I just explained how it is achieved...I had Mark X for 2 years as well....so I guess I know a thing or two

Now tell me one thing..did you or did you not keep the RPM at 2000 or Max at 2500 to achieve the mileage

yea u need to keep ur rpm stable below 2500rpm to achieve this kind of mileage, our markx 6th speed always help to get gud mileage.....i cant get above 9km/l from my markx as i drive within city
