I am not saying ou lied about the mileage....but I just explained how it is achieved...I had Mark X for 2 years as well....so I guess I know a thing or two

Now tell me one thing..did you or did you not keep the RPM at 2000 or Max at 2500 to achieve the mileage

yea u need to keep ur rpm stable below 2500rpm to achieve this kind of mileage, our markx 6th speed always help to get gud mileage.....i cant get above 9km/l from my markx as i drive within city

yup bro in city it gives a good average i get 8-11 in city

@poster its good but one should keep in mind that from abbotabad to haripur its almost complete down hill slope and the car can run on it with out giving much gas from the paddle, once i was coming back from the same route a group of sports cyclist were going with us on the same track and at some spots i have noticed that the bi cycle was going faster than 60km/hr (due to down hill slope). i think it will help to understand.

The average mentioned looks very great as i have a 2010 GLI it give me around 17km/litre on long route if the rpm is below 2300 and give 14km/litre when the rpm is around 3300. and with ac on in city it give only 10km/litre.

at 44 km/h avg speed over a distance of 35 km this average is hardly surprising...its pretty normal...that too coming downhill

from abbotabad city to haripur 35km done in just 1.5 liters (H)

Well i think u want to say i run at 40km/h rite .
No bro u r wrong it tells that i in last one hour i travelled 40km .
Invluding i stuck in the traffic near bus stop of abbotabad and allot of trucks came i got slow then overtack.
No body can maintain the speed of 40 or 8o for cosective time means for 1 hour except motorway

in 48 hours i travelled @ 45Km/hr before a 10 km stop for fuel fill then @ 65 km/ hour for 51 km then stopped for tyre pressurre check and 32 km @ 75km /hr when i got 2 tyres flat. waited for 3 hours to get both wheels fixed then travelled 90 Km @ 110 km/hr before reaching destination. what was my average speed at destination 183Km away from start.

am sure you can work that out ? if not then ap ko school dobara jana ho ga.
