Nice post rana sb. it reminded me some beautiful days of mine. I loved this trek too much,,, done 4 or 5, once with cousin and rest of the times alone between 2003-2004. Used to start from nathiagali to mukhspuri top via lalazar-then descend to dungagali to catchup pipeline treks till khiragali,,,,,,,, and then continuing walking khiragali to kuldana on the road and then murree adda for returing to islamabad.

You forget to take some pictures of the memory stones on the trek with dates. I think mostly or all of the stones are at dungagali-ayubia trek

Thanks. I have pics of memory stones. But that relates to Pipeline trek. (Dunga Gali to Ayubia) In this thread I only posted images of Ayubia Khaira Gali trek.

I have marked this trek for this year. Insha'Allah I will do it after completing the following. Maybe I will do it in September or October....
1) Ganga Choti.
2) Fairy Meadows.
3) Leepa Valley.

Wow.... This was some amazing and tiring hiking that you did. In how many hours have you done this? The most that I have ever done is from Ayubia-Dunga Galia- Mukshpuri- Dunga Gali - Ayubia. But it seems nothing as compared to your hiking.....

It will take 2-3 hourz.. actually this trek is easy, as it goes straight and it is wide and also will nor ascend nor descend.

I was actually referring to the track that badjays had mentioned. i.e Nathiagali-Mukshpuri-Dunga Gali-Ayubia-Khaira Gali-Murree.
I don't think it can be done in less than 8 hours. May approximation would be
1.5 hours from Nathiagali-Mukshpuri
45 minutes from Mukshpuri-Dunga Gali
45 minutes from Dunga Gali-Ayubia
2.5 hours from Ayubia-Khaira gali
3 hours from Khaira Gali-Murree

8.5 hours total.

If you don't want to go Mukshpuri.... you can go direct Nathia - Dunga trek via lalazar wildlife park...

ur approximation is nearly fine ,,,, usually it take 8-8.5 hours including some stays and brunch at ayubia,,, it was something like that

1 hours from Nathiagali-Mukshpuri
20 minutes from Mukshpuri-Dunga Gali (its just decending,,,, u can do it within 10 min as well upto metalled road)
30 minutes from Dunga Gali-Ayubia
2.5 hours from Ayubia-Khaira gali
2 hours from Khaira Gali-Murree (stay only for rest,,, no particular sight seeing,,,, in my opinion is more tiring,,,, so if one could get van,,, it would be better)
