@ayaz. its not just about the pistons..
its about the combination of crank/rods/piston/head/block.
the main reason that u would get the raise in comp with the zc pistons in a d15...is because the zc head has alot more combustion chamber volume in the head...where as the d16/d15 heads dont.
by just placing the jdm zc pm7 (which are domed) pistons in the d15b (with the shorter rods)..and using a thin headgasket...ull get a comp ratio of 10.8:1
then u can shave the head/block a 0.8mm or so...to increase the comp ratio further
which will result u with a 12:1 comp ratio
OR
u can get a d16block/crank/rods...the pm7 pistons...a d16 or d15 head..which will result to a 12.5:1 comp ratio...without any head shave...quiet high isnt it.
