Hi guysThis year we have planned to test our very old machine i.e 30 years old Suzuki Van. but this machine performed so well and never let us down any where. Climbing on Babusar was really a fun because at lalosar lake we have to accompany 03 more friends so we become total 08 persons and managing the decend from babusar with 08 persons was really memorable .The installed Altitude meter in the van can only read upto 4000 meters but the babusar top is around 4200 meters (so our altitude meter stops working but we carried on), Rest the pictures will tell the story. my special thanks to rebel, ali qadri for their value able input and also my GPS device have helped us alot .
Details of our trip as follows:-
No of persons = 05 +03(guests)distance Travelled =1342 KmsNo of days = 05 Maximum altitude atained = 4230 meters

Bohat aala bhai. How did you build the confidence to take 30 years old machine to mountains. I have a 1997 Khyber in very good condition but I dont feel confident taking it to the north.
Any suggestion will be very much appreciated.
DAY 2:-As our main target was babusar top se we take good rest at Naran and left naran on the 2nd day early morning. the track till JHALKHAD is out of this world and the beauty is undescribable. Done break fast at burawaii. A very delicious break fast while sitting in sun ....Rest pictures will tell the story

Thanks dear ..actually dear as it is said their is always a man behind the machine:) and restoring old machines is my passion(H). i will not suggest you to take khyber there because of its low ground clearance.
Wonderfull guys . climbing on babusar top with such load is really owesome. and i must appresiate the driver and not the least i am very much impressed from your ride. it is well kept and nice looking. best of luck and waiting for more pictures .

Nice Photosgood going.brave to take this machine there.
We have done Naran in 1993 with two suzuki Van. Infact my first trip to these areas. At that time, reaching naran on Vans is a achievement. My cousins still have this blue Suzuki VAN.
going to be a wonderful thread...
Multani bhae ap chaa *** hain... But purani pics laganay say seniority ka bhi pata chal jata ha...lolz...
Share the pictures of 1993 trip plzzzzzz?
Brother, I only intend to take this Khyber on long routes not where its low ground clearance will be an issue.
Having said this, can you please advise of some bullet points a person should consider before embarking on long drives on highways and mountain roads so that the vehicle does not stop in the middle of no where and a person like me does not know the ABC of mechanical parts.
And from where did you get maps on your GPS device?
Thanks
