On 14th and 15th Feb 2015 me and my three other friends visited Banjosa Lake and Toli Pir (Azad Kashmir).
We three started journey from Lahore @ Honda City Prosmatic on 13th Feb 2015 after Jumma prayer and reached Rawalpindi before Esha. At Rawalpindi our forth friend joined us and we took rest at his place. On 14th Feb 2015 after breakfast we left Rawalpindi for Banjosa Lake via Kahota, Rawalakot, Khai Galla, Chota Galla and reached Banjosa.
Next day We hired jeep to take us to Toli Pir (19 Kilometer from Khai Galla). Although cars was going towards Toli Pir but we didn't take risk to take our Honda City because of low road clearance.
I hope you will enjoy the pictures. Toli Pir is an amazing place but Banjosa Lake was disappointment, a big disappointment. Although there was peace and calmness but what really was missing, was the beauty normally associated with the lake. Although the surroundings are lush green but the lake itself isn't beautiful like many other northern areas lakes. However it is still place to visit. Please keep in mind this is an artificial lake which usually won't give you that much beauty which a natural lake gives.
