Bad fuel consumption Civic 2011 :(

hi everyone this is my first thread on pakwheels.
i am having problem with fuel consumption of my civic reborn 2011. it is giving rly bad avg. 7km in city and 11 on long...
my tire size is 195/65 R15... i have lenso rims not genuine which came with car...
got my car tuned up from honda bt still having problem... jus driven 10,000KM...
plz help me what to do

IS it prosmatic or a manual one ?
I have a civic manual base model, driven 4k KM and it gives me around 10.5 - 10.7 within city and 13.5 on motorway.

Also my tire size is 205 with 15 inch rims, dont remember the profile size.

if it is prosmetic than average is fine. prosmetic gives u max 8.5km/l

i ve a mnaul civic too and its on 18s with 235/40/r18 mine easily gives 10km/l in city

I also have Prosmatec 2011 Civic. Mine gives 300-325 km in Full Tank. But I drive too fast.
And on Highway I got 400km in full tank @ 190-210kmph speed.

Well, most commonly the only thing to blame is the Right Foot!

Have been using a 2007 prosmatic since new, with 215/60R15 Yoko DB tyres on original rims. The average around town has been approx 9 to 9.5 in summer with AC, and 9.5-10km/l in winter without AC. Average driving is gentle, with occaisonal flooring of throttle. On motorway M2, trips to lahore between 120-130kmph gives 13-14km/l with ac on.

(Engine oil used is mostly Mobil-1 5-50, changing after 7500km)

ur car is giving good avg even with 215/60 tires...

bro my right foot is very decent and occasioanly get naughty but still city driving doesnt give me 7 or 7.5 Km/Ls but one more thing to notice is that karachi defense / clifton driving means 3rd gear then break again 1st max 3rd gear

Somehow the Civic prosmatics have always been notorious for higher fuel consumption, compared to corolla autos. My brothers 2002 civic prosmatic1.6 never gave better than 8 around town. Manual civics have been comparitively better though.

The 215/60R15s have same diameter as the 195/65R15s. Obviously they are wider. The tyres were changed the next day after my civic arrived, so can't say if consumption on original 195s would have been better. I keep my tyre presures 29-30psi.
