Bad Paint job by IMC on new Altis Grande

Well jus to update all that I went to Toyota Capital Islamabad and showed them the paint, they did agree that IMC paint quality is up to mark as per international standard, and the paint in international variant is better. They also asked me to get the car glass coated, there where different packages and they were doing these coating on their 4th floor

You need to pop the hood to admire it even more you will love that unpainted engine bay area

Btw this is common problem worldwide not just 11 gen previous gens to suffer and there were recalls as well not just corolla but Rav4 suffered from same

paint is always done before assembling the plastic trim.

spray on plastic trim means car was damaged and repaired

People use to take denter and painter with them to verify used cars, now it seems one has to take a denter or a painter with them while even buying a new car to make sure its not damaged and repainted.

Bro i spent an hr with torch before getting delivery:) u cant trust these looters here. once delivered they will never agree to any complaint..we got a badly civic x in Oct from cuty sales and gher ja jer pata laga tha....honda guys offered tk repaint ..never agreed within 15 hrs of selling car..

They were not at mistake
As per intenational standards dealerships are allowed to repair any damage done to to car during transportation

It happens world wide the reason its a big thing In Pakistan because "genwan paint" "pumper to pumper" mentality

Secondly..i had similar similar with Cultus back in 2006 and we didn't accept delivery..car eas replaced wirhin ,2 days..if we had accepted then phns gaye thay...if i pay for new car it should be new if touched then its scrap.. simple

Cultus se yaad aya....my father took delivery of 2008 cultus....i ws not there due my exams....

The door side mouldings on the right side were not there....not even the left over glue (like it fell off).......it wasnt installed since factory.....there was a big PDI OK sticker on the windscreen though

Some blind people did the pdi i guess....not even the showroom peeps saw it

Bhai i do not agree...no one in the world will buy a repaired vehicle at same price. U may feel contented on this but there is no point in accepting a touched car when u paid full price of a zero meter car. Rest of the world has other standards as well and since we already get poor quality cars, touching will be the nail in coffin. What good is a brandnew car if door is painted..before hand

You are right that dealer may hide it but..if customer catches he can rejected the acceptance form and they are bound to satisfy him...and i m sure no dealer in the world can argue on that sir.. customer rights are way too high in rest of world

My brand new 1.6 2016 Altis had a paint drop on the rear bumper and a paint crack that turned into a rift and progressed, which was disappointing.

Car’s passenger side door jam had paint chips, like someone with boots heavily hit the door jam while getting out.

Passenger side rim had a slight scoff like it was hit while coming out of the trailer or while parking near the footpath.

Headlights and the taillights had dings SERIOUSLY! And a dropping mark on the front headlight.

It's been 3 years since my ownership with the car, it's been driven with extreme precautions, though every day when I inspect it after work it has some new paint chips.

I've stopped inspecting it as I know there would be more problems if I look into it. They're just playing with our feelings, regardless the price you pay you're going to get nothing in return.
