Bad Paint job by IMC on new Altis Grande

My uncle actually accepted the delivery. He's not a car lover or anything, therefore, he didn't bother to inspect it or get it inspected.

Then you should have visited with your uncle or should have sent someone who would have checked thoroughly. Dealers take advantage wherever they can..khair pkdm cars still have issues and you finding them if you keep searching them:p

My mistake for being stupid again. I was 16 at the time and the car was supposed to be given to me on my birthday. Lessons very well learned.

The excitement of getting the new car after a long wait, usually makes one ignore these issues. Very difficult hold oneself. Also what I have learnt so far is once car reaches their local IMC dealers, it’s the dealers responsibility to fix all issues and the car never goes back to IMC, so now it’s ur good luck or bad luck if the dealer’s painter or mechanic is a good or bad. All IMC will now do is to guide u to those ppl who know jack about how this car was built, all they know is do the jugar, kalam etc.

U can badly tease them if you don't accept delivery..we did this to Cultus in 2009 and after a bad 1 week..theh replaced the car as we simply refused to take delivery with a scratched fender. Just dont settle with a compromise ever bro..its not easy to earn halal

So the point of not accepting the car makes no sense cuz it’s not going back to IMC, the local dealer will either spoil it further or do some compounding etc. I would rather take it to some specialist in town and get it sorted from him, instead of allowing any anari experiment with my new car.

Bhai they have to replace the car..and urs will be given to someone else who accepts it.. simple... but if u don't sign..they can't do shit

We settled witn Suzuki so i m sure.imc will be less of a shot than napak SUZUKI..suzuki walon nay bhi buhat batain ki thin but we were like kay doosri car laaoo...nhn leni touched..else we will file a case in court. Finally in just 1 week they agreed

Also, I've heard from Mr. Snueel Munj, that the cars are delivered through roads! Not on the trailer but random people are driving it to the local dealers.

Imagine buying a brand new car that isn't really brand new. There is never a 0 on the meter! Strangers are driving it to the destination, glasses down etc. And if the car has been hit, then they will fix the car without addressing the repair history to you.

I read somewhere on Youtube where a guy said that his ”brand new” Civic had 200 km when he received the delivery from the local dealer. There's basically no concept of the 0-meter cars in Pakistan.

No bro, like @fastian04 said, refuse delivery and they do replace it, just make sure you hold your ground, i know lots of people who got there vehicle replaced because of it not being acceptable for delivery.
As for people driving cars to the showroom, opt for showrooms outside the main city where trucks are allowed and your car won't be driven much, there is a science behind all this

I have used Vitz 09 model purchased in Jan 13 for around 6 years and I never had any paint scrapping or scratching issues. Even my kid banged the door against the wall inadvertently couple of times but I never had issues with that car. Got my grande in mid november 18 and even with a slight contact of door against the wall, the paint chipped off. Utterly disappointed!
