bro if ur ride isn't eating oil, like on oil change, if it eat like 1/4th portion of total oil then its ok, but it goes like half burned or more, like 1 to 1.5 liter gone during 2000 to 3000 kms, then ur engine is gone,
same as if u can see the performance like, car getting over heat in city run with ac on, 5 passengers onboard and car isn't climbing hilly areas , getting heat up, have to give it a break, then its near to end the engine,
else if all above mentioned issues are not observed, then u can run it as long as u could,
my personal exp, petrol engine goes easily 400k if driven with care and luv 
i have margalla which is on 320k on odo, and still performs like hell
