Baleno's duplicate key

I have only 1 key of my car i fear if it also get lost how will i make duplicate, is it possible to make duplicate only by key or have to take my car to suzuki?

if its without immobilizer then u can ask any key maker to make a duplicate key but if its with immobilizer then u have to ask suzuki and they may ask u 6 to 7 k by the way why will you loose it ?

If u have only one key at the moment then its better to get one extra. Or atleast note down the serial # on Key as it can help u to get new key in case u lost old one.

It is imbosed on every original key. Is it not present on ur baleeno's key?

yar i also lost my only key ov baleno 2 months ago.due to immoblizer u cant use local key so finally i took ma car to pak suzuki and they were makin 1 key for 6K.so finally changed whole ignition and door locks system for only 9K.so to avoid any prob u should have other key.

yaar i also have the same issue..... I also have one key and i have that fear that i will lose it one day..... Anyways i dont have any searil embossed on my key.... and i have heard that if u lose the key and dont know the serial, they usually change the whole ECU costing around 50k.....Is it true..

friends....could you suggest me how to make spare key of my 2003 civic vti also. I dont see any serial code or something imbosed on it but its also a thick double sided material.

I DOUBT baleno has an immobiliser because my Altis (2006) does not. Also, theres no "serial number" embedded on either of my car keys (Civic n Altis) ...

Anyone can make u a spare key, and its pretty cheap too, less than a couple hundred. You should definately make at least 1 extra key. comes in handy, not only if u lose your key, but if it breaks or gets damaged or something...

Baleno Does have an immobiliser in all models post 2002.

and yes if u dont have the serial number, u need to replave the ECU.

Its possible that Balenos have an immobiliser cuz i really dont know much about em. But then how come a top of the line rolla doesnt? I got an extra key built on local plastic/cheap metal or something and that works...

I called to SUZUKI Motors for the replacement of key and they had told me the F procedure.
1 Logged an FIR in the relevant Police Station where the car parked.

2 Then give the copy of that FIR to local SUZUKI dealers and they will forward it to SUZUKI Karachi.

3 After that an engineer will come with Branded SUZUKI's software and break the code which was punch at the time of assembling and install a new code and give you new key.

SUZUKI Motors will cost 8k for this job or reh gayi aap ki khawaari to us se un ko koi matlab nahi since they dont have any Customer Care Department.
