Hi,
After my Suzuki GD-110 S original battery (Brand SOLONG 12V 5A) successful 3 years of serving it came to end.
When I visited market, I found no other makes except NATIONAL battery with 10 days warranty. That is not satisfying me. But I found most after-market parts shops and battery dealers recommending 'Sealed Battery' (AKA Maintenance Free battery) in place of lead-acid type. They say it would last for at least two years and you do not have to worry about electrolyte level.
So I bought a 'Feeji Co. 12V 5A Sealed Battery with May-2019 manufacturing date.
I am worried that sealed battery will be successful in my bike where charging and consuming battery is a simultaneous process. I have seen sealed battery usage as charging first then discharging (during use) then charging again. Like emergency lights and Inverters/UPS. where charging and usage are two separate processes. While in bike with electrolytic lead-acid battery charging starts as soon as bike starts and battery is used in parallel with Bike's Electrical power generator.
So my question is what performance and lifetime I can expect from a Sealed maintenance free battery in place of electrolytic battery ? Can someone give info on that please?
