Battery Drain from a switched off car

I have corolla 88 and have a 5afe engine installed. When the car is switched off, the battery drains 0.4-0.5A of current (measured with a multimeter). I've done the parasitic draw test by connecting the multimeter in series and taking out every fuse one by one. None of the fuses caused any change in the reading. I got a new battery recently (Daewoo dry battery 65A), and it drains in 3.5 days from a full charge. My electrician just says that this much drain is normal but I think it's too much. I don't know what to do at this point.

if you keep the car at long parking disconnect the battery terminal any one or both.

My Phoenix (wet) lasts 5 to 6 days easily and sometimes even more than 10days

0.4 amps is a lot

Normal “dark” amp draw is under 50 milliamps which is 0.05 amps

I made a video about on how to find it correctly. You will also need to find any extra equipment installed on the car which can cause this.

where can i find the video? I don't think there's any extra equipment besides automatic lock system and multimedia player (which is an old cd player with aux cable so shouldn't take much).

lasts 5 to 6 days easily

i start and drive one car for 5 kms every 25- 30 days. It has an AGS battery and starts in 3rd attempt. Do you have some tracking device installed.

no. whatever is drawing current doesn't have a connection with the fuses or I would've figured it out.

Did you go through all fuses in the car?

Did you isolate door switches so the roof light stays off?

What size and what car? 25 days is a real stretch, especially if you are able to pull it off more than once after just a 15 min drive

A good battery should be able to sustain its charge for 60 days in an oldschool car and about 45 days in a modern car

Sometimes alternator is also problematic and it drains battery to remove alternator wire and then do parasitic drain test

please confirm issue started after battery change and not before

borrow watter acid battery from anyone.i am pretty much sue the car will start after a week easy

I just got mine rectified, it was dome light connection inside relay box. horn, backlight brake lights parking lights, trunk light, dome light, music player, tracker, obd2 port, or relay boxes can be culprit. get some expert electrician he will charge you well but will resolve.

I have never experienced anything of the sort ever in Pakistan. Max two weeks.
Maybe a month on a Mercedes Benz battery, but not otherwise.

Did you go through all fuses in the car?

Did you isolate door switches so the roof light stays off?

yes, there are 3 fuse boxes in the car. One is inside, next to driving seat's door, the other two are under the bonnet. I did the test in which you pull the fuses/relays one by one until there's a change in the reading. I made sure that the doors were closed.

The issue started after I changed the battery but I'm not so sure that was the cause of it. Once I changed the battery, after a week, the fan wouldn't switch off when I switched off my car, The key would be in my hand and the fan would keep running. I had to take out the negative terminal to switch off the fan. When I took it to the electrician, he said it's the relay problem and changed it and it fixed the problem. Since then, the fan immediately switches off but the engine takes like 2 seconds to completely shut off (kind of like how your car shuts down when it runs out of fuel). This has never happened before and I'm not an expert but I feel that some current keeps it running or something. Idk.

Are you saying that the daewoo battery might be leaking that 0.4A or that it has a very low capacity? The battery doesn't drain if I take off the negative terminal
