Battery Drain with Android Panel

Aoa,

I recently replaced the original Clarion player in my GLI 2016 to install a Android panel available in the market.

However, I noticed that if i dont start my car for 1.5-2 weeks the battery drains. This car is used as a second car. This didnt happen before. Is this normal ? What could be the reason?

I think it’s normal it’s also depends of your battery life. I’m sure you also have central locking , further check ampere consumption on acc switched off . You can use any multimeter to check it should be in mili amps

If car don’t have tracker then parke it and remover negative terminals of car you may get more juice even after 2 weeks.

i asked one collegue he said it has something to do with USB ports of new android panels, which consistenly draw electricity even if the car is off. I however couldnt find how this works. Is it true ?
