I have a 3KVA UPS (2300-2400 watts) which has been using two 175 Ampere AGS batteries. Conventional batteries.
While it has been 2 years now, I will need to change the batteries soon. I have come across these TUBULAR batteries also known as DEEP CYCLE batteries by AGS, OSAKA AND DAEWOO.
AGS is making deep cycle batteries for solar and UPS and the maximum size it makes is 165 Ampere retailing for 25,000 rupees a piece.
Daewoo is making deep cycle battery too by model name DIB 225 AND DIB 260, these are larger than AGS deep cycle but do not mention any specs like AGS does on its website.
Osaka Tubular batteries come under model TA1800 AND TA 2000.
Can you guys please recommend which deep cycle battery would be best for transformer based sine wave ups? I am inclined towards OSAKA due to larger capacity than AGS. Daewoo is risky investment
Prices are same for most brands. Daewoo is a bit expensive from AGS and Osaka..
I will need 2 pieces, please mention how your experience has been with the 3 brands in terms of deep cycle batteries for since wave UPS.
Thanks!
