Battery Health

I've got a Daewoo dry battery last September on Mira, it sometimes takes a long cranking start to the ignition. I got it checked with the meter, it shows 14 volts with the car turned on and only 10 when off. The mechanic says that the value of 10 is fine but I saw a youtube video and he said that it should be around 12.6 when the car is off. So can anyone tell what exactly is the situation here?

If the meter is showing 14 volts when the car is turned on, it means that your car's alternator is charging the battery well and the battery also has the required volts when in the charged state, however, when the car is turned off, and the meter is showing 10 something volts, then the first thing I'll do is to get the battery checked, maybe there is some problem with the battery as the resting voltage of the battery has to be 12 something volts and not 10 something.

That's what I am trying to find out, I did take it to the mechanic and he said the battery was OK but I could have the battery serviced. I don't think that would be a proper solution. I also wanted to know if it can be changed under the warrantee for this issue.

So this means any of the fuse is eating up the batt power? Because none of his fuses were faulty so I wouldn't know if that could be what I am searching for. But... It certainly can be tried.
