Just coming from workshop. My santro was missing while driving at night. Showed it to mechanic, but was unable to get to the fault. Many brothers in this forum also advised several things.
Coming back to the point, my santro started missing again,till it refused to go any further. All the electronics were dead. I called my mechanic to recue. He came with a spare battery. Replaced the battery and took the car to worshop.
It was a dead generator finally.,that was causing all the trouble.
Our mechanic are not that wise yet to diagnose the problem real problem.
Bought a kabli generator for 4000 and replaced it.
To my surprise all the missing disappeared and the car is as good as it should be.
Hope this post might be helpful for santro owners.
Santro is a tough car,but very expensive to maintain.
