Battery stolen :(

Salam to all!

I have alto 2010, I park my car out side the home and yesterday, battery has been stolen by someone (May be he was needy) and I have to purchase new battery although it was new as well

Infant thief bended the number plate and by doing some trick opened the bonnet and did his desired thing. my neighbor has also got Alto and number plate of his car was also bended but fortunately his car was safe as thief couldnot open the bonnet.

I am thankful to Allah as my other things are ok!

I will purchase new battery today and in order to avoid this incident again can someone advise me any safety precautionary action not to happen this again

Use the battery clamp. Jahan bhi thief ko lage ga k time lgna hai he will leave it as it is. Baqi chun chun wala alarm lgwao bhai and make it sensitive.

Is Battery stand with proper nut bolt installed in your Alto??
Because I saw brand New Alto came without Battery stand..

This has happened to us few years back, some gang was operating in Askari II and they targeted batteries from cars that are not used. Our Corolla 84's battery was stolen.

I even remember decade ago, this also happened with our townace. But battery wasn't involved in the case, the thief managed to steal some of speakers and attempted to take out it's tape deck from their. He even managed to steal my father's wallet.

BTW. Mods move this thread to correct section.
