well finally we reached Passu and stayed in Passu in @ Rs. 600 /nite. passu has changes a lot since the apppearance of Attabad lake.... ofcorse there are less visitors and thus the city is much more quiter and that is a good thing form my point of view but at the same time the ppl of the area are suffering and i encountered many ppl that have shifted to hunza nagar or gilgit for jobs..... also on the batura gllacier trek we saw many ppl shift form the settelments to the city coz there r no trekking/tourist coming....... hopefully this will phemonenon will reverse after the constructionof the new road and tunnel.....
anyway it was fun at Passu coz of the splendid views of Topopdon (passu cones) and hunza river and peas and quiet.. we went for a stroll in the town side and enjoyed cherries from trees while talking to a old local chaca who told us abt the movement of locals to other areas.........
after that we met our guide and porter and we made our finanial aggrements with them........ enjoyed hot baths and good food also.........
