I have visited some famous markets/stores of Lahore last week after reading a lot about "Black Friday" with the hope to find some good bargains for Gents clothing. In the end i just found that it was just waste of time and petrol. All the big brands had displayed banners for Sale but it was all fraud as i had known the actual prices of these items while visiting these stores a week ago. What they did to be fool the consumers was that they increased the prices many folds a few days before announcing sale and then announce discount on these enhanced price tags. In some cases i found the prices before the sale were less compare to prices in the sale. So in this way they tried to loot the innocent public on the name of Big Sale. Be careful when you see such "sales" in the markets and always compare prices with some other shops before buying anything in sale.
That is because we don't have/celebrate thanksgiving in Pakistan (which is only in USA).
Expecting black friday deals in Pakistan is like expecting goats to get super cheap after Bakra Eid in USA. lol.

Well said tintin.
One such example is the sale by Gul Ahamad Ideas these days which they repeat after every 2/3 months. Here you can find a few old and unusable items on 70% and remaining stuff on 5% discount. hahaha. (and no discount on good stuff)
I faced same situation with bata, service, gulahmedshop.even gulahmed did not allow to try dress and donot take return
