My God, shazo bhai, I feel really really sorry for you yaar! Thats indeed a very sad story.

I must say, NEVER leave ANY of ur precious possessions in ur cars people. They are more prone to being stolen than a car itself.

Laptops, mobile phones, wallets etc are a thieves honeycomb. They know there is gonna be something to steal in the back seat of a 2 million car.

The ONLY way, IMO to stop these thieves is "apni madad aap" cz all of us know, Police is not gonna do anything just cz a dude got his laptop stolen worth a few thousand bucks. U'll have to pay the Police more than the laptop was worth to get it back, which seems pretty lame useless to me.

The all time famous idea of using "bait" cars is gonna come in handy perfectly. Its about to leave a car with possessions like laptop, mobile phone etc on the back seat and waiting for the guy to attack them while waiting with a licensed 12 gauge shotgun in a car with fully tinted windows.

let him crack open the car, just by the time he is about to leave with the things, Catch him, tries to run?, unload a couple of rounds to bang him down.

Thats the only way they'll learn cz its NEVER a single person in action, its always a gang of five or seven dudes who perform these robberies.

One goes down, the others stay low for a few months.

For me, a licensed 9mm in the dash while driving has been serving the purpose, cz no one's gonna help you but your own self. cz nowadays, one feels like stepping into a war zone, the moment he leaves his home. Always be ready for ANYTHING to happen to you on the roads. :(

with due respect bhai.. i do appreciate ur courage but would also add that the solution u gave CAN ONLY be applied by BARAY LOG.. a common civilian can not even imagine of doing so.. the police willl bang up his *** so hard that he would even forget to carry a weapon.. even he did was right..
in our country.. if somone attacks u and u get killed its ur loss.. but even if u kill the next person in ur defence. even than u will be hanged..

so only solution is to pray that MAY ALLAH KEEP OUR BELONGINGS AND ALL OF US SAFE.. ameen

ahh, yes indeed its all about courage. Thats the one thing u should have and then the whole Pakistani awaam will be with you. U just need to take the initiative.

A month back, there was a guy, in Faisalabad, trying to do a drift in a new civic reborn. But sadly, it resulted in an EPIC failure and as a consequence, the guy banged the car into a passing by student of A levels. people gathered, and believe me or not, they tore up reborn's as$ into pieces.

Beat the ***** outta that punk driver. Police did not do anything about those people. Couldn't do nothing at all. cz there were like 200 people there on the scene. The guy lost his 2 million worth of car. Nothing actually happened.

Its the courage that we need and every darn thing will become all right. Its only our restricted thinking, like ignorant slaves that we ought to be robbed in parkings just because we are not the sons of a GUJJAR MPA or MNA. :-!

What I actually meant was once u create such a scene, there is NO WAY such a person can escape cz everyone in the locality has been robbed at least once.

alhamdulillaha i found my laptop back, we got that guy, he was a office boy in a office and working there from 5 years, the C.O of that office helped me alot and recovered my laptop from that guy's home. now he admitted that he stole another laptop too. now i pray that the 2nd laptop will also recover too. i dont have words for all u guys how can i thank full to you man, really thanks alot for every thing u guys did for me.

First of all, really sad to hear about your loss, but it is such a relief that you got your precious thing back, halal ki kamayi thee yaar. Dukh tou bohat hota hei obviously.

Secondly, poverty has struck this nation bad, partly because it is our governments fault, and partly it is our own.

Governments fault because they're busy minting money, giving a rats as-s to whatever is happeneing in the country, especially with the middle and lower class.

Our fault because we select such people to govern us and we are not careful at times and least bothered by what is happening.

In the end i would ask all of us to regularly give sadqa because it helps A LOT, power of ALLAH is ultimate, and a lot of miracles have happen to me myself because of giving sadqa.

yea bro i got it back, well its a long story bro we were spying that person and finally 2 of the guards verify that this is the same person so we caught him from his neck and bang him a lil and finally he open his mouth.

I feel very sorry for you though, But three years back, this happened with my uncle. The similar incident.

He parked his car in a hospital in Faisalabad and that's his work place. Though he was busy and he was coming to LHR that day. Suddenly somebody broke the triangular window of it and stole his cell phone, his wallet and most importantly...The Laptop.
he left everything in the rear seat of it.

The car was a 2003 Toyota Corolla 2.0D Saloon. It had an after-market alarm system. But the alarm didn't alert him

I urge you never ever keep personal belongings in rear seat. Keep them in your car's trunk. This can prevent theft.
