i have a Baleno 2003 jxr , last year one power belt was cracked , i changed both the power belts......now the belts are making noises......nothing worked good to make that noise stop......i wana ask......from where i can get original belts ......however at suzuki dealers.....we tried new belts, they give more noise......from where can i get some good new belts in Rwp/Islamabad......is there any good used ( Kabli ) parts shop in Rwp/ Islamabad.
any belts work wid same sizes, my fathers Baleno has Nissan Belts i guess, I got the a/c belt nd Fan belt replaced.
Vitz also made the noise but tightening it resolved the issue,
Go step wise as mentioned below..
Check that you have replaced it previously with a correct size of belt.
See that the type of belt is the right one that was originally used in your car which is V-type, w type or the toothed/notch type. For more details on this visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_belt
Check that the belt is having the requisite tension to maintain its grip over the pulleys.
Check the alignment of both the pulleys for better grip.
Check the bearings and / or other problems that may be hindering the free motion of the pulley.
Check the pulleys and belts for any oil, slick or grease on them.
Check the surroundings of the belt areas for any leaks that may be of oil water or grease.
Hope it solves your problem.
boss,,,,let me give u a very quick and cheap solution.
