Belta performance

Dear Members,

After looking for Honda City and then Liana LXI, I am now looking to add another option of Toyota Belta into my search category.

I am getting a Belta 2006 /Reg 2008 model with 17K mileage for around 9.30 lacs.

It will be great if the users can rate how the car is with respect to maintenance, performance, parts availability and value for money.

i wouldnt leave an offer like tht bt buddy belta preformance cant say its realy realy good because its body weight is more compared to vitz with same 1.0l engine its very economical if you are shifting down from honda city u might feel its underpowered

@@illdude nah it's not underpowered.0-100km/hr is around 13-15 sec:D
@afzal the parts are easily avaliable and guda guda(Y)(Y) performance it gives me 17-19km/l easliy:D

1000cc !!! For a sedan ...
even Vitz feels so underpowered..
cant imagine wat a belta wud feel like,....
Performance aside....Its a gud buy !

Belta is a GR8 car.

But it will be under powered wid a 1000cc engine espesially in this weather wid A/C switched on all the time. There are a few imported wid 1300cc 2SZ-FE engine which is the predecessor of 1SZ-FE which showed in the 1st generration Vitz. I think 1.3 will serve you much better.

i head 1000cc petrol consumption is too good and the car feels pretty smooth on driving as well.

totally agreed with hsumbal. 1.0s are really sluggish. even 05 onwards vitz are boring. go for 1.3 as they have the same egnine block as those of previous model vitz and the 1.3 really moves the car even on cng. u put cng in this one and the auto tranny wud kill ur car. trust me bro. no 1.0s plz

belta 1.3 is around 12 lac +

it doesn't remain a good deal at that cost

DO NOT BUY TOYOTA BELTA 1000 cc if u are going to drive it on cng..it sucks...my uncle owns it and i took a test drive..at first i thought there was something wrong with the car...thats why i'm using a 1300 belta on cng...and it is soundless and the pick is excellent...1000 cc belta makes sound like a jet...all the owners of 1000cc belta i don't mean to discourage u...but u guys should try 1.3 and u will forget the 1000cc...alots and alots of difference in drive...

Hi Guys

I need some information regarding toyota belta (only 1000cc), so this is specifically for belta owners or ppl who have driven belta.

There is a list of questions if belta owners can provide some information.

1- General driving experience
2- Quality of the car (its body, speakers, dvd player, electronic windows, A/C)
3- Most importantly, avg fuel consumption of the car. (In city with A/C and without A/C)
4- How does Auto belta works with CNG? and its avg consumption.
5- availability of its parts in Lahore and how expensive are they. (Is it just expensive or very expensive)
6- Top speed of Belta 1000cc (which u have done)
7- smoothness of the drive.
8- Price of 1000cc belta. (I think 2006 should be around 1m - 1.1m)

Thanks in advance. I know the list is long but I need this information before buying this car. I know the resale is not gr8 but I am not worried about that because my priority is to drive a good car rather than to resale it.

Its a good car i bought one for a friend it gives great milage n had no issues wit power, it feels very solid n there is no need for cng. Its more for city drivin he had it for 2yrs n not a single problem
