Best 6x9 Speakers in 10k (Isb)

Aoa guys,

Can anyone please recommend best 6x9 speakers? Preferably somewhere in Islamabad. Will be running without an amp.

Budget is: Rs 10k

Checked the threads and couldn't find anything, all the threads were very old or atleast that's what the pakwheel's search yields for me.

im from Lahore, however i knew there were some decent shops in blue area...

and as far as speakers are concerned, it all depends upon ur taste and preference...

i like kevelar conned 6902r as they are very neutral sounding no coloring added and no where near harsh...

i still have a pair installed on rear shelf...they are so blending that sometimes i think there is nothing installed at read shelf...

musically best what u can expect from a japanese speaker ...

and yes being kevelar conned they let me feel closer to B&Ws, even though they are not yellow

Will be sure to try it out. Cant see these available online. Maybe they are available in shops.

Sir, with due respect, just changing the speakers won't give you any advantage over previously installed speakers if you want an increased output. I'd suggest that you add an amp to the setup aswel. Plus, which HU are you using?

I've currently have very poor front speakers some sony model got them for about 2-2.5k about 2.5 years back. A friend had some pioneer champion series speakers installed about 2 years back and they sounded way better than what I have in my car.

I understand that an amp will help, but I really don't want to overspend.

I am using a Panasonic player that used to come in corolla. See the pic below:

Ok. Well if you are not willing to overspend then go for any Pioneer champion series or JBL touring series speakers. And for front doors you can buy Kenwood or Sony coaxials. There will be some improvement in the sound but not much of a remarkable difference.

just to add, i will go with same brand and same series speakers for fronts and rears, else due to tonal difference it cud sound imbalanced, i have done that before and then had to go for same speakers all around...the car manufacturers also do follow the same and i dont see any harm doing it...

Yeah, that's principally the right thing to do. But some times you wont be able to find the same series of speakers in all configurations.

actually almost all of them do like this...from budget to hi end series...

But I am pretty sure that if you can get your hands on original JBL then you can find all configurations in their Touring series....
