Best AC Compressor for Corolla 86?

Well guys we were selling our ride but later canceled the plan as we are going to keep the car for daily use...

So the car is Toyota Corolla 1986 model 1.3L Engine and its AC performance is not good so we took the car to the mechanic and he said that its AC Compressor is almost in useless/khatam condition so he said to change it and he said that "Sandon" compressor is best for this car and it will cost about rs.14,000

so guys please tell me which compressor is best for our car and also quote its price and also tell that is "Sandon" Compressor any good? and i also have heard of "Indigo" Brand compressor its made in Indonesia is it any gud?.

There are 3 types or sanden compressors available in market.

1 - Chinese cost around 5000 Rs and performance is not so good.
2 - Singapur cost around 7500 and works very nice.
3 - Japanese cost around 11000 Rs and best one available

Corolla 86 had one of the best compressor the compressor use to put very less load on engine but sadly they are old now and its hard to find a good one in market.

Go for Sanden japanese or Singapur one.

Thanks alot for the help and the mechanic guy was saying he has a new Sanden Japanese one it will cost 14k NEW + additional for labour + gas + bracket...

is there any other good company? or i should go wid sanden Japanese?

You can try success Compressor or ask him to put qabli Denso corolla XE compressor that will cost you around 3500 to 4000 Rs. You wont need any alteration with this compressor i did the same in my corolla 88.

My sugesstion is go for kabli Denso, it work fine, but buy it with help of mechanic,

Vaqas1: Hey bro i have checked the AC Compressor shop and the guy had Sanden Chinese one and Singapore one, i asked him about Japanese one but he said that most of the shop people try to sell Singaporean one with Japanese packing & fool the people and we don't do like that. So guyz is it fine to go for Sanden Singaporean one?
and wont the new compressor perform better then kabli Corolla XE one ?

Yes the new one will perform better. Make sure its a singapore one and go for it. I have heard the singapore one performs very welll

BTW this will be a R143 Compressor so r u planning to keep using it on R12 gas or switch to R143? I am not sure if you can use R12 on this compressor ask you mechanic if he says its possible than sitck to R12. Cools better and also less alteration required.

BTW ask you mechanic to put the steel type of dryer bottle if its faulty that works better and improves cooling than the cheap success black bottle they use.

I am working on 1986 corolla and the car is in final touch I want some recommendation

1) suspension :
I am looking for installing indus corolla suspension is it a good idea is there anyone having experience with it? My mechanic is saying both are same we can use it bolt to bolt

2) suggest ma best AC master in karachi and tell me about the current prices and options avilible
