Any one with first hand experience on Mitsubishi extreme split AC 1.5 ton ( with bigger indoor).

i have read here few people commenting that new model advance is not as good as old extreme ?

Electrolux was also in my list and i like it in all manners........but none of the shopkeeper shows interest to sell electrolux. may be they don't have good margin but i think electrolux is easily comparable with mitsubishi, sanyo etc........

Prism performs really well.............at 3'o'clock mid-day. chilled the room in 20 mins......sitting comfortably without any fan............

The AC use between 4.5Amp to 5.1Amp

AC cooling is so powerful that with in 15min the room gets cool
If set the temperature 30C the room become 27C.

The AC consumed approximately 1 unit every 1.5 hours and from 3rd hours that drop to 1 unit every 2 hours.

Outdoor unit have no running noise if you stand close you could hardly hear compressor is running.

Bought this 1 ton unit just yesterday but I still have to get it installed. Already have 1.5 ton unit purchased in April and am very satisfied with it. Hoping that this one is as good.

Guys any idea about Hair Cy series it has inverter technology and it is costing me around 48000 rupees only available at selected shops....i cannot find any other inverter (dc based ) a/c in market till now shopkeeper have no idea about it only haier official dealership have this model

yes bro i am thinking to buy it ....but though i like the technology i am little concerned about its reliability cause they told me that they are using their own HAEIR compressor in it where as in other models they use Mitsubishi compressor .....by just adding few thousnad i can get panasonic or mitsu (though they are without inverter technology)....

i saw PEL at metro too at same price its tempting but people on this thread seem to dislike it ...one of my uncle has one ton pel cool life and its been running good for past 2 years....

Today there was news that 10 % duty is not being imposed on a/c so may be prices will or should decrease by 3 thousand which were increased by shop keepers ..as i have to buy 3 a/c so it can be some handy saving if it decreases

Well i am not sure if Hair uses mitsubhishi compressor in the normal models this is claimed by the local shop owners there is nothing about it online or anywhere.

If you dont want to risk with chinese hair, gree, pel, than you can also look at Acson they also make good air conditioners.
Inverter technology is great and savings and cooling will be good to bcoz it can maintain a temperature than what normal ac do as soon as temp drops than they kick in.

BTW Duty is imposed on air conditioners they only lifted this duty from Car air conditioners.

yes brother i am satisfied with its performance, and i also bought it from metro islamabad for Rs. 29,999. now the price i checked last weak is 29,600/
