what are the prices of LG 1.5 ton splits?

I bought LG 1.5 NEO Plasma (MLO 1865) for 48k + Installation in March-2010, don't know about current price.

make sure, u buy Korean LG model.... Paki made are crap though u'll get them cheap!

i had one window type lg and it didnot last very long and LG after sales service is not good either ...you have been having problems with lg ever since u bought it .....i have feeling that LG airconditioners are over rated they are not as good as other appliances offered by LG

The LG guy came and checked AC and it was perfectly fine all need to be done is service. I never knew that we have to get AC serviced before every season and I didn't get it serviced since I bought it. This is it's 3rd season and my AC remains on 24/7, it only gets rest when load shedding or we're not home. He said you need to get it serviced as soon as possible before something go wrong. Outer's exhaust is not throwing out air properly.

I have few complain with with LG, it's not perfect, that air throw is not good and there are not good options to adjust the direction of throw.

I always service my acs by my self, with window it was easy I have been servicing my general and national acs for years but now bcoz we sold them and got splits i only clean my evaporator every 2 months with a brush and water.

There are Metro installers here i asked them what they do in service they told me in 500 Rs they will clean evaporator and condensor and if you want us to do complete service than we have to unmount condensor and eveporator that will cost around 1500.

Imran Gree or hair. Both are top chinese air conditioner makers. I am using gree 1 ton in my home and its working without any problems. They say hair got mitsubhishi compressor in it so that is a plus point if its true. SO chose any of these you will be fine. I will say avoid orient they get these airconditioners from some chinese maker and put there own logo on it.

S55 i will say get it serviced. I dont want you to mess up some thing and come looking for me :p.

But an easy way would be to get a air blower if you can reach your condensor just blow that air into condensor fins to clean any resident dust from it.

Open up the evaporator area of your ac take out the filter now see if you can reach the fins easily if you can than get any old tooth brush dip it in water and go up side down and dont damage the fins or bent them. Now if you see they are not very clogged than you dun have to clean them.

This is the normal way of cleaning if the LG guy going to un mount it clean it and check the ac gas level thats even better. Service is all about cleaning the condensor and eveporator coil and clearing the water drainage path.

dear is Haier and Gree both a dobul condonseer some people say the Haier is dobuel condonseer and gree is singel condonser and what is the banefit dobul condonseer

Imran its a 1 Ton and takes around 5 amp to 4.5 Amp at max.

Go for Hair i told you they both work very well and both got not many complaints.

Condensor i am not sure what are the advantages of double condensor bcoz this is just a marketing bs :p.

LG Introduced Multi flow condensors in there acs ya that you can say is a good thing or rust free condensors or acs with Inverter technology. So dont get confuse and buy gree or hair which ever is in your budget and you like the design

Avoid mounting outer at a place with direct sunlight.

i donot think the model u mentioned has DC inverter compressor there is only model as far as i know please recheck the specifications .

only this model belonging to CY series has dc invertor compressor so be careful new model does not mean it has dc inverter compressor

Got my AC serviced today after 3 seasons straight :S the is a huge difference in throw and cooling now. It was hell of dirty. But he didn't open the outer and outer used blower for that while he thoroughly washed everything inside the indoor unit. Took 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

Good. Servicing the Window AC was so easy but these splits you cant unmount them without closing the gas so thats a tricky thing to do.
