Don't have acson or neither any of my friend. But my university have acson every where before that there where panasonic and Mitsubushi. Acson works really well in class rooms and lecture halls.

General use old technology in there split which was used in Windows AC that's why is always high on electric city bill.

We're currently using PEL for more then five years now. Used to dislike it because of physical appearance and that, but it cools the bedroom in less then 5-10 mins.

It's a 1 ton model.

Midea has lauched its split unit in pak having freon leakge detector which is need of time for us....can anybody tell me how is this split..i am planing to add 1 more unit in my home ..waiting for your advice?
bugdet is around 35 to 45k

if you can afford then just go for mitsubishi heavy duty ,they are far away good from these chinese brand ac all tho i just hate orient they are just the waste of money ,moreover just for the information i have seen general 1.5 splits in the market but with no warranty ,they claim that if you have installed 2 ton of any brand ,general split 1.5 give very good responce because they have piston compressor

I m using General 1.5 Ton Split for last 4 years and Mashallah its great. Bought that in Rawalpindi in 2009 and it was having 1 year Warranty.

Bro its not consuming 20amperes while running.That 5300W compressor is of Cooling/Heating Unit.
Mine is only cooling and it is written there 1900W only.

I have checked amperes and it is taking 8amperes while running.

And i also checked it from Gree Pakistan.

Haier Running load Amp for 1.5ton is 8.7 for 1.5ton (Taken from their website).

Gree is also launching G10 Inverter Based AC.

G10 will be launched in coming months- June/July and you will be updated about its price and specs then.

I am having 3 Haier of this series but they are too much heavy on my pocket.So Gree is a little bit economical than Haier for me.Cooling of Gree is also Awesome.My brother is having Quilt and i am having Qambal on me in the day and night.Too much cooling bro.

i m using Dawlance H Zone 1.5 ton. its cooling is Fantastic and it looks superb too. i have no idea how much elecricity it is consuming though. would update when i get the bill for last month

We hit the highest temp this summar. People are like. " Oh Man its hot outside".. I sent the next 10 day forecast for lahore avg 45C to my coworkers and they were like " muun khula reh gaya unka"
We are using 8000BTU AC and working perfectly.

Temp right now but Humidity is 90%
