   never faced problem with the above three brands.

Dont go 4 volta and osaka. i have very bad expeience with them two times under warranty. Even warranty claim is very difficult for these. Their staff is noncooprative.

I have FB from last 2 years in my car. Not a single problem yet

IMHO, FB is much better than either Exide or AGS. I have used all three brands, FB seems to last twice as longer as Exide and AGS. Both Exide and AGS lasted only 2 years, whereas FB lasted 4 years in 3 of my cars. Now i have FB batteries all my cars.

more like a matter of luck, a volta battery has been working in my dad's rolla for the past 4 years, but on the other hand the ags battery in margalla died in six months, exide lasted 2 years

All local brands are good (known brands i.e.) the problem comes to the person who prepares it, If the new battery is put into service with tap water and dirty gutter ka taizab. YES IT WILL DIE IN LESS THAN A YEAR.

Brand does not matter, its how you prepare the electrolyte and what you use afterwards for topping. All local brands are good.

AGS has served me best. In local brand you should buy either AGS or Exide.

have had good experience with FB and Exide both. Have used volta and phoenix too. All lasted not more than 2 years :(.

i prefer buying battery from the main dealer using the logic of Xulfiqar bhai assuming that orignal dealers will use proper acid and distilled water combinition for the preparation of electrolyte.

yes if a bad acid is being used any battery would die straightaway.

so get from a reputable place preferably after querying and inspecting their electrolyte preparation facility. all local batteries should last 2 years if maintained properly.
