Best Battery for Santro

Salam,
My Santro's Battery is finally dead, gave me a good 2.5 yrz of life... nw i want to change my battery. wanted to ask which brand is better and how much will it cost..

go for a/c delco(manrainance free batteries) atleast 60 AH or if space then go for 90 AH

Dont try to shove the biggest battery in there - unless you are positive that your alternator can push out at least 10% of the battery capacity without problems at low engine speed.

The original battery size is the brick type of 45AH reserve and 400CCA startup. That is the one you are looking for. And if you are choosing the so called "DRY" batteries - make sure that your system cut off voltage is 14.5-15.0 Volts - if not then those batteries will never charge fully.

But - if you read up the maintaining batteries thread and get hold of some pure distilled water - make the electrolyte and pour into new battery - you will be literally amazed to see how fast that battery cranks your car and how long it lasts.

The service life of my installed Pakistan batteries are about 5 years with no problems.

i am talking after experiencing my self in my santro,
in my car a/c delco of 90 AH was used & it last upto more than 6 years(car was on daily start running app. 100 km daily for 5 years)
there was not a problem single day of charging, always start on 1st attempt, even after 6 years, it was ok but car was sold( i told new owner gav him guarantee card & receipt that try ur luch=k,how many days it go more) so at least 6 years is enough to take out money from it
